The Position: As our group is growing, we need a leader who can guide the financial systems that empower us. We’re searching for an experienced chief financial officer with previous international eperience to join our team and keep our finances positioned for continued success. The CFO will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. This seasoned strategist not only will understand current accounting practices and trends, but also will have experience raising capital and adapting to change, whether it’s through growth or downsizing. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills. The CFO will report to the CEO and the Shareholders and should have previous exposure with taxation matters in SEA and internationally. Qualifications required: Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance International finance experience Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations Executive experience with SaaS business models and their associated revenue recognition Relevant Professional certification (CPA / CFA...) Required Technical Skills: Tax compliance and planning (corporate tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax) Multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange (FX) risk management Financial strategy and risk management Cash flow and working capital optimization Audit management and statutory compliance Regulatory compliance and governance Trade finance operations (Letters of Credit, B.G., export/import financing) Internal controls and training, design and implementation ERP and financial systems implementation (i.e. Odoo) Financial data analysis and management reporting Financial reporting under IFRS Understanding of Transfer Pricing Required Soft Skills: Communication with Various Stakeholders Intra-personal Skills Time Management and Organisation Problem Solving approach Attention to Details Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the global financial strategy aligned with business objectives Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team Provide financial insights to guide long-term growth and investment decisions Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes Partner with senior managers to drive performance, profitability, and efficiency Deliver clear, data‑driven analysis to support decision‑making. Oversee global accounting operations and high‑quality financial reporting Lead external audits, tax filings, and liaison with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies ensuring compliance with IFRS, audits, and statutory requirements Manage cash flow, liquidity, capital allocation, financing activities, Letter of Credits (LCs) and banking relationships Lead risk management, governance, and timely financial close processes Establish internal controls, policies, procedures for cost control and process enhancement Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure Oversee global finance team performance, training, and succession planning
