The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness across all operational activities. This role ensures that operational processes, manpower, assets, and service delivery meet company objectives, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards. Job Responsibilities: Operations & Process Management Oversee day-to-day operational activities and ensure smooth execution of all operational workflows Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions where required Ensure service levels, KPIs, and SLAs are consistently met Manpower & Team Management Lead, manage, and supervise operations and administrative staff Plan manpower deployment, shift scheduling, and coverage planning Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and on-the-job training Ensure discipline, safety compliance, and productivity of operational teams Logistics, Assets & Inventory Oversee asset management, equipment deployment, and maintenance planning Manage inventory, spare parts, consumables, and logistics movements Cost & Budget Control Manage operational budgets and control operating costs Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality Track expenses and prepare operational cost reports Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations Implement corrective and preventive actions for operational issues Reporting & Continuous Improvement Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and management updates Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence Requirements: - Diploma or Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field - Minimum 5–8 years of operations experience , with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Experience managing field operations, technical services, or logistics operations - Good understanding of KPIs, SLAs, and compliance requirements - Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or operations management systems is an advantage - Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Applicants who possess relevant experience for the above responsibilities are most welcome to apply.
