Research and Development (Glove Experience Preferred) – Hat Yai

Position: Research and Development (Glove Experience Preferred) Location: Manufacturing Plant, Hat Yai, Songkhla, Thailand Job Purpose To design, develop, and improve products, manufacturing processes, production chemicals, and operational procedures for both existing and new manufacturing facilities. The role aims to enhance production capabilities, improve product quality and operational efficiency, reduce manufacturing costs, strengthen the company’s competitive advantage, and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies established by the Company. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and improve products, formulations, and manufacturing processes. Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of product and process development initiatives based on current products and identified improvement opportunities. Conduct research on new technologies, techniques, and innovations to enhance existing products and manufacturing processes, as well as to develop new products and production methods. Manage, monitor, and coordinate R&D projects to ensure objectives and timelines are achieved. Analyze and evaluate existing products and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and problem-solving. Design and develop control programs for Robotic Hand Dip systems used in sample glove production. Coordinate with suppliers regarding chemicals, latex, machinery, equipment, and other materials required for product and process development. Key Activities Conduct research and feasibility studies to ensure alignment with project objectives and business requirements. Design and plan experiments at the laboratory scale (Lab Scale). Perform feasibility testing and evaluation under the Feasibility Study (FS) process before initiating Change Control procedures. Collect and analyze data to validate results through Validation Runs. Summarize and document experimental results before transferring developed processes or products to the Production Department for implementation and operational setup. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree in: Rubber Technology, Chemical Science / Chemistry, Polymer Science Food Technology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Engineering or other related fields Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality, R&D, Research and Development (Glove Experience Preferred), Product Development, Process Development, or related functions. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Knowledge of Rubber Technology and Polymer Science. Knowledge of Chemistry and Chemical Analysis. Knowledge of Statistical Analysis and Data Interpretation. Understanding of Quality Management Systems. Creative thinking and innovation mindset. Strong organizational and project management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and relevant technical software. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
