We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager / Assistant Key Account Manager to develop and grow our business in the HORECA and foodservice channels , with a strong focus on hotels, private clubs, Western restaurant chains, cafés, and international dining groups . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our cooking oil and foodservice product solutions to professional kitchens and purchasing teams. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, sound commercial sense, and the ability to communicate effectively with chefs, procurement teams, F&B managers, and senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales plans to grow business in hotels, private clubs, Western restaurant chains, cafés, and other foodservice accounts. Identify, approach, and win new customers in the HORECA sector, particularly international and Western-style dining groups. Manage and expand key accounts by building strong relationships with chefs, purchasing teams, F&B managers, operations teams, and senior decision-makers. Understand customers’ kitchen operations, menu requirements, product usage, purchasing cycles, and cost-control needs, and provide suitable product solutions. Promote cooking oil and related foodservice products through customer visits, product presentations, sampling, trials, and solution-based selling. Negotiate pricing, supply terms, contracts, tenders, promotions, and other commercial arrangements to achieve sales and profit targets. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, customer feedback, and new business opportunities within the hotel, club, and Western restaurant sectors. Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, pipeline updates, sales reports, and regular business reviews for management. Work closely with internal teams including customer service, logistics, procurement, finance, and operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment, timely delivery, and high service standards. Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues professionally to maintain long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty. Support ad-hoc sales projects, trade activities, customer events, and business development initiatives as required. Qualifications Minimum 8–10 years’ B2B sales / key account management experience , preferably in foodservice, FMCG, F&B, catering supply, hospitality, or HORECA-related industries . Proven experience in managing or developing accounts in hotels, private clubs, Western restaurant chains, cafés, international dining groups, or large foodservice operators . Existing network with chefs, F&B managers, procurement teams, restaurant operators, hotel groups, clubs, or Western dining groups will be a strong advantage. Strong commercial sense with a proven track record in achieving sales targets, developing new accounts, and growing key customer relationships. Good understanding of foodservice purchasing behaviour, kitchen operations, product trials, contract negotiation, and customer decision-making processes. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese ; ability to communicate confidently with international chefs, expatriate managers, hotel teams, and corporate procurement teams. Self-motivated, proactive, target-driven, and able to work independently in a competitive sales environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate with internal departments to deliver practical solutions to customers. Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Key Account Manager .
