Serve as the Secretary to the Gallery's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Committee and Fire Safety Committee. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance on workplace safety requirements Assist in leading the Gallery's fire safety management programme and support the Senior Fire Safety Manager in ensuring compliance with the Fire Safety Act and relevant statutory requirements. Enforce workplace safety policies, rules, and regulations Plan and deliver workplace safety training and awareness programmes across the Gallery Lead investigations into workplace safety and fire safety incidents and accidents, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures Ensures the term contractors, vendors comply with safety requirements before the commencement of work Oversee and administer the permit to work system for all works works carried out within the Gallery Lead in risk assessment and job safety analysis and establishing safe work procedures Responsible for maintaining safety certifications (Bizsafe and ISO 45001) for the Gallery Performs other ad-hoc assignment when required. Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience in workplace safety management Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower Certified Fire Safety Manager certification would be an advantage Certified Work-at-Height assessor Familiar with Bizsafe and ISO 450001 audit and certification processes Able to work effectively and contribute within a large, fast-paced team Able to manage multiple projects concurrently Excellent communication and writing skills. Willing to work flexible hours in line with business needs, including rotating shifts and/or weekends as required Able to perform physically demanding duties associated with the role, such as site inspections, climbing, and prolonged standing/walking
