About the role Scholario Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Mentor Bisnis/Finance to join our team in Denpasar Selatan, Bali. This is a part-time position that plays a crucial role in our mission to develop and empower individuals within the community through professional mentorship and financial guidance. As a Business/Finance Mentor, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between aspiring entrepreneurs and established business practices, providing strategic support to help our mentees achieve their professional and financial goals. This role is essential to our community development objectives and directly impacts the success of individuals seeking to advance their careers or establish their own ventures. Target program : Asia Business Simulation and Scholario Business Simulation. Key responsibilities Provide one-on-one mentorship to individuals seeking guidance in business development, entrepreneurship, and financial management Develop personalised mentoring plans tailored to each mentee's specific goals, challenges, and learning needs Offer practical advice on business strategy, financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and investment decisions Guide mentees through the process of business plan development and feasibility analysis Share industry insights and best practices to help mentees understand market dynamics and competitive landscapes Assist mentees in identifying funding opportunities, including grants, loans, and investor connections Monitor mentees' progress against established objectives and provide constructive feedback and encouragement Conduct regular group workshops and training sessions on business and financial literacy topics Build and maintain a supportive mentoring relationship based on trust, professionalism, and mutual respect Maintain detailed records of mentoring sessions and progress tracking for programme evaluation Collaborate with Scholario Indonesia's team to ensure mentees have access to additional resources and support services What we're looking for Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in business management, finance, accounting, or a related field Proven track record of successful business experience, either as an entrepreneur or senior professional in a corporate environment Strong knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and business accounting principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial and business concepts in an accessible manner Demonstrated passion for mentoring and community development with a genuine interest in helping others succeed Experience in developing business plans or conducting feasibility studies Understanding of the local Balinese business environment and entrepreneurial landscape Ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and educational levels Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical, actionable advice Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools Preferred: Experience with business development programmes, NGOs, or community service organisations Preferred: Fluency in both Indonesian and English What we offer At Scholario Indonesia, we are committed to creating a positive and rewarding work environment for our team members.
