Multimedia B2B information provider is looking for a dynamic sales person to sell advertising and sponsorship across our platforms to top-level business and legal professionals in China and international markets. This role is ideal for a highly driven individual who is seeking to develop a career in international multimedia sales. The successful applicant will be a self-starter who enjoys seeking out new clients and markets, as well as developing and expanding relationships with existing clients. He or she will be totally fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin, confident in dealing directly with top-level business and legal professionals, target-oriented and highly motivated. Excellent sales skills, a good telephone manner – and the relentless drive to put it to full use, day-after-day – are essential requirements. Prior experience in professional media sales is preferable but not necessary. The sales process is primarily telephone based, it will also involve face-to-face meetings and some business travel. (If you have a phobia of speaking on the phone, this role is not for you!!) The successful candidate will join a professional team of sales people, journalists and publishers to play an active role in the growth and success of our products. The role will be remunerated with a competitive basic salary and uncapped commission.
