Position Summary You will initially join as an Assistant Accounting Manager or Accounting Manager, depending on experience, and will gradually take over the overall accounting function after a sufficient handover period. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, cash flow management capability, cost analysis experience, and leadership skills in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Management Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement). Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities. Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting. Prepare management reports and analysis for Japanese management. Cash Flow & Financial Control Monitor and manage company cash flow and working capital. Prepare cash flow forecasts and support business planning. Ensure adequate fund management for daily operations. Support budgeting and financial control activities. Cost Accounting & Business Analysis Conduct product cost analysis and manufacturing cost reviews. Analyze variances in material costs, production costs, and inventory. Provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability. Support management with ad-hoc financial and operational analysis. Team Management Lead, supervise, and develop accounting team members. Assign tasks and monitor team performance. Improve accounting processes and internal controls. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth business operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 15 years of accounting and finance with experience managing and supervising staff. Experience preparing full set financial statements. Good Command in English Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting. Experience working in a Japanese company or reporting directly to Japanese management.
