Business Development Executive, Marine & Offshore

Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Hong Kong. Responsibilities Assist to promote BV’s Classification, Statutory, Certification, Advisory, and Technical Solutions throughout the asset lifecycle Assist preparation of commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations in coordination with technical teams Support to monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client strategies to proactively identify growth opportunities Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with clients at assigned level Coordinate with operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery and contract execution Contribute to market intelligence, pipeline forecasting, meeting minutes and commercial reporting Participate in industry events, conferences, trade shows, and client seminars Identify cross‑selling opportunities across BV service lines (e.g. digital solutions, ESG, decarbonization) Ensure assigned BV commercial system is up to date Ensure commercial brochures from head office are up to date and distributed regularly Ensure all sales activities comply with BV ethics, compliance, and quality procedures Any other tasks assigned by Manager, achieve assigned KPIs Requirements Education background - Bachelor's Degree or above with Major in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience - Marine & Offshore, Shipyard, Classification societies, Shipping, energy, or technical services is preferred Excellent communication and presentation capability, willing to travel regularly within South China region Language - Fluent in English, Cantonese & Mandarin is preferred About Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore At Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore, we share a drive to shape a better maritime world for future generations.
