Head of Cards & Payments Technology

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end technology delivery and operations for Cards & Payments platforms . Oversee card issuing, acquiring, payment switching, ATM/SST, and payment network integration solutions. Ensure high availability, stability, performance, security, and reliability of mission-critical production environments. Lead large-scale transformation, migration, modernization, and enhancement programmes . Manage technology risks, production incidents, change initiatives, and operational resilience. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, payment scheme standards, and internal governance policies . Drive continuous improvement in system performance and service delivery. Manage project delivery, technology vendors, service levels, and cross-functional teams. Provide strategic technology guidance and subject matter expertise for Cards & Payments initiatives. Engage senior business and technology stakeholders to support the Bank's digital transformation agenda. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline . PMP certification is required. More than 12 years of Banking Technology experience . Strong hands-on leadership experience within Cards & Payments technology in a bank or large financial institution. Proven experience with card issuing and/or acquiring platforms, payment switching, ATM/SST, and payment network integrations . Experience managing mission-critical, high-availability production card environments . Proven track record delivering large-scale Cards & Payments transformation, migration, or modernization programmes . Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, SDLC, project governance, risk, and change management . Experience managing complex technology programmes involving multiple vendors and stakeholders. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
