Digital Platform Lead (Financial Services)

My client is a financial services organization focused on driving digital innovation and transforming financial infrastructure through emerging technologies. They leverage blockchain, cloud computing, and enterprise-grade platforms to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient financial solutions. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and enhancement of digital platform solutions within the financial services environment. Drive the implementation and integration of blockchain-based applications and distributed ledger technologies. Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure solution quality and performance. Support platform operations, incident management, troubleshooting, and production stability. Design and implement solutions utilizing public cloud technologies and modern application architectures. Develop and maintain smart contracts and blockchain-related components. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technology teams to deliver strategic digital initiatives. Evaluate emerging blockchain protocols, standards, and technologies to enhance platform capabilities. Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and governance requirements within financial services environments. Participate in system enhancements, platform optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on software development experience within the financial services industry. Strong programming skills with solid experience in Java development. Proven experience in blockchain technologies, distributed ledger platforms, and smart contract development. Good understanding of blockchain protocols, standards, and industry frameworks. Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Strong experience in code review, software quality assurance, and operational support activities. Experience in designing and supporting enterprise-scale applications and digital platforms. Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and related financial systems is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Fluent in both Cantonese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
