Research Assistant, Felizberta Lo Padilla Tong School of Social Sciences (Ref.: 26/101/SS/RA) Duties: The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in a research project aimed how capitals affect students’ engagement with GenAI tools and their academic performance on: (a) review and conduct literature review; (b) recruiting participants; (c) perform quantitative data analysis (d) prepare materials for conference presentations and publications; (e) handle relevant administrative tasks; (f) performing other duties as assigned. Appointment Criteria: Applicants should have (a) a recognized bachelor’s degree or above in social sciences or a related discipline, preferably in the area of Psychology and/or Sociology; (b) solid research experience; (c) excellent communication and interpersonal skills; (d) positive attitude, responsible, self-motivated and ability to work independently; (e) proficiency in both written and spoken English; (f) proficiency in using analytical tools (e.g., SPSS or R). Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
