We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer for a leading financial services company and support the delivery of strategic digital transformation initiatives across the insurance business. Client Details Leading insurance firm Description As a Full Stack Engineer, your main responsibilities will include: Analyze business requirements, enhancement requests, and technical specifications to design and deliver scalable software solutions. Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using modern development frameworks and best practices. Prepare technical specifications, test plans, and test data to support solution delivery and quality assurance activities. Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance. Conduct post-implementation validation, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects throughout the software lifecycle. Collaborate with business users, solution architects, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery. Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, technical excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support production releases, system enhancements, and ongoing application maintenance. Contribute to large-scale transformation, modernization, and cloud adoption programmes. Profile A successful Full Stack Engineer should have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development. Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications in complex environments. Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes within financial services or insurance is highly preferred. Experience working with vendors and multi-disciplinary delivery teams is advantageous. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
