Merchandising Executive / Senior Merchandising Executive

About the role We are seeking a talented Merchandising Executive or Senior Merchandising Executive to join our team at our Kwai Tsing District location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our merchandising team and you will be instrumental in assisting and executing merchandising strategies that maximize sales, enhance product visibility. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact our commercial success whilst working with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities: Coordinate daily merchandising activities in areas of new product development and supplier source; Assist in handling merchandising information to the sales and marketing teams; Work with factories to process and follow up with vendors and product delivery, and compare prices from suppliers; Explore with new and potential vendors for new and existing product and also select and negotiate with Vendors; Work with in-house Product and Graphic Designer for product development; Analyze and research some data on market trends & innovative items to maintain good quality control; Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned. Job Requirements: Degree holder in Business Studies or equivalent; Minimum 3 years’ solid experience and preferably in gifts and premiums items and toys plush; Strong market sense; sensitive to marketing trend and changes in customer needs; Familiar with the USA and EU testing standard; Good communication skill, mature and tactful in negotiation; Organized, proactive and be able to work under pressure; Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese input; Good commend of both written and spoken English and Chinese, should be able to communicate in Mandarin; Travel to China is required if necessary; Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Merchandising Executive position.
