Senior Payroll Officer | Logan area | $100,000 - $110,000 + Super Your new company An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Payroll Officer to join a leading national organisation experiencing continued growth across Australia. Based in modern corporate offices on Brisbane's southside, the company offers on-site parking, convenient public transport connections, a collaborative culture, and a supportive leadership team committed to employee development and career progression. Your new role Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of accurate end-to-end payroll services across a large and complex workforce. Your responsibilities will include managing high-volume payroll processing, award and enterprise agreement interpretation, payroll compliance, reconciliations, complex payroll calculations, terminations, leave processing, back-pay adjustments, and resolving escalated payroll enquiries. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the ongoing enhancement of payroll processes and controls. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will bring extensive payroll experience gained within a medium to large organisation, along with demonstrated expertise in managing complex payrolls. Strong knowledge of awards, enterprise agreements, payroll legislation, and compliance requirements is essential. You will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to confidently manage stakeholder relationships while delivering accurate payroll outcomes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
