Embedded Software Engineer (C++/C) – Hybrid working Location: Bangkok Salary: 50,000 - 70,000 THB + Benefits Cathcart Technology is assisting a well-established company, recognized as a leader in equipment and industrial automation solutions. With decades of innovation, this organization is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++) to join their team. If you are passionate about embedded systems and enjoy solving technical challenges in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Design and implement fully functional, high-performing object-oriented software solutions using C++ or C Develop embedded systems on microcontrollers and embedded processors. Debug system- and board-level modules through software toolsets, collaborating closely with hardware and firmware engineers. Create and troubleshoot multithreaded applications to ensure performance and reliability. Work with both Linux and Windows platforms to deliver cross-platform solutions. Qualifications: At least 5 years of programming experience in embedded systems. Proficiency in C or C++ with strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. (CAN, UART, SPI,) Knowledge of Model-Based Development (MATLAB/Simulink) Experience developing and debugging multithreaded applications. Good command of English is required This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about firmware development. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
