Brewer / Brewery Assistant

About the role Ukiyo Brewing is seeking a Brewer / Brewery Assistant to join our production team on a full-time basis at our facility in Kwai Chung, Kwai Tsing District. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our brewing operations, supporting the production and scheduling of our craft beverages. As a Brewery Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to the quality and consistency of our products whilst gaining valuable experience in the brewing industry. Key responsibilities Assisting with the preparation and setup of brewing equipment and facilities Supporting the execution of brewing recipes and production schedules Monitoring fermentation processes and maintaining accurate production records Assisting with ingredient measurement, mixing and handling in accordance with production specifications Performing quality control checks on materials and finished products Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the brewery, including equipment cleaning and sanitisation Assisting with packaging, labelling and storage of finished beverages Supporting inventory management and stock control activities Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations within the brewery What we're looking for Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desirable Knowledge of brewing processes or food and beverage production is advantageous Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items Excellent time management and organisational skills A team-oriented approach with strong communication skills Reliability and punctuality Willingness to learn and develop skills in brewing production Valid work visa or residency status as required by local regulations What we offer At Ukiyo Brewing, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive working environment where our team members can thrive.
