MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA MAHI - ABOUT THE ROLE Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa is looking for an experienced and highly organised Payroll and Payables Officer to join our Finance team. This position is based in our National Office on Victoria Street, Wellington. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time each fortnight, while also managing the organisation’s accounts payable and staff expense reimbursement processes. Working as part of our Finance team, you'll build positive relationships with colleagues across the organisation while delivering a high standard of customer service and financial administration. In this role you will: Prepare, monitor and process the fortnightly payroll through Ready Workforce payroll system. Manage the organisation's accounts receivable function. Process staff expense reimbursements Investigate and resolve account queries in a timely manner. Maintain accurate financial records and data. Support the Finance team with reporting and month-end processes. Contribute to continuous improvement of finance systems and processes. KO WAI KOE - ABOUT YOU You will bring previous experience in a similar payroll and accounts payable role, along with a strong understanding of the importance of accuracy, confidentiality and meeting deadlines. You will bring: Strong background and experience running the end-to-end payroll process. Previous experience in an accounts receivable role is desirable. Strong numeracy and data entry skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
