JOB SUMMARY: The IT Business Analyst is a hands-on, Agile-focused role responsible for partnering with business and operational teams across the organization to understand their needs and drive adoption of data analytics and AI-driven solutions. Acting as a trusted bridge between business stakeholders and IT, this role translates business questions into data, analytics, and AI requirements while helping teams understand, trust, and effectively use data-driven insights. The ideal candidate excels in communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement, and is passionate about helping teams change how they work by adopting analytics and AI as part of everyday decision-making. RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and other business functions to understand business goals and decision-making needs. Facilitate discussions to uncover underlying business problems and opportunities where data analytics or AI can add value. Translate business needs into clear requirements for data pipelines, analytics, visualization, and AI-driven solutions. Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and IT delivery teams. Help stakeholders understand data concepts, analytics outputs, and AI recommendations in practical, business-relevant terms. Influence and guide teams toward adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled ways of working. Support change management activities related to analytics and AI adoption, including communication, training, and feedback loops. Define requirements for data collection, data quality, and data governance to ensure trust in analytics and AI outputs. Collaborate with data engineering teams on data pipelines, integrations, and Lakehouse architecture Partner with BI teams to define intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations aligned to user workflows. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews Support UAT and rollout activities to ensure solutions meet business needs and are adopted successfully. Continuously identify opportunities to improve business outcomes through analytics, automation, and AI. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong experience working with diverse business stakeholders and influencing without direct authority. Proven ability to translate complex technical or data concepts into clear, relatable business language. Working knowledge of data pipelines, data engineering concepts, and analytics platforms. Experience defining requirements for BI, dashboards, and reporting solutions. Familiarity with AI or advanced analytics use cases such as forecasting, optimization, or anomaly detection. Experience working in Agile delivery environments. Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience supporting analytics, data, or AI initiatives in manufacturing, electronics, or high-tech environments. Familiarity with data Lakehouse architecture and modern data platforms. Experience working with data scientists or AI teams to operationalize models. Background in change management, digital transformation, or analytics enablement initiatives. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. Equivalent experience in data and analytics roles may be considered. Skill Required: Exceptional communicator who can build trust and credibility across technical and non-technical audiences. Strong listeners who can understand resistance and address concerns around data and AI adoption. Influencer and change agent who can guide teams toward new ways of working. Skilled facilitator who can drive alignment and decision-making in ambiguous situations. Storyteller who can turn data insights into compelling narratives that drive action. Patient, adaptable, and resilient when driving cultural and behavioral change. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience in IT, analytics, or data-driven initiatives.
