Accounts Executive

About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join VAM Property Management Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Selangor . This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our finance department, specifically supporting our accounts payable function. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing vendor payments, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and supporting the broader objectives of our property management business. What you'll be doing Processing and verifying supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness Recording accounts payable transactions in the accounting system Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Processing payments to vendors in a timely and efficient manner Maintaining detailed records of accounts payable transactions and documentation Preparing accounts payable reports and aging analyses Communicating with suppliers regarding payment queries and outstanding invoices Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures Supporting the accounts payable team with administrative tasks as required What we're looking for Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably 1-2 years Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail Sound understanding of accounting principles and practices Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information Familiarity with property management accounting practices is preferred but not essential What we offer VAM Property Management Sdn Bhd is committed to providing a supportive and professional working environment for our employees.
