We're looking for a motivated and relationship-focused Wealth Adviser to join our team and help grow our presence across the Taranaki region. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships, making a meaningful impact in their local community, and helping clients make confident decisions about their financial future. As a face of Fisher Funds in Taranaki, you'll work closely with clients to understand their goals, provide personalised investment advice across our product suite, and build long-term relationships founded on trust. You'll also play an important role in growing our regional presence through community engagement, local partnerships, referrals, and networking opportunities. Whether you're an experienced adviser or developing your advice career, this role offers the opportunity to grow your technical expertise, deepen client relationships, and contribute to a high-performing national team. Key Responsibilities Build and grow a portfolio of clients by delivering personalised investment advice and exceptional service. Provide high-quality, compliant financial advice while supporting clients through key life stages and changing financial needs. Partner with Business Development Leads and regional team members to convert opportunities into lasting client relationships. Continue developing your technical expertise and advice capability while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Represent Fisher Funds professionally and help create a positive, inclusive, and client-focused environment. With a strong focus on growing our Regional Relationships and Presence by Actively build your profile within the Taranaki community through networking, events, referrals, and local engagement. Represent Fisher Funds at community events, seminars, and industry forums. Develop and maintain relationships with local professional networks, referral partners, and community organisations. Support regional growth initiatives by identifying and converting new client opportunities. Help strengthen Fisher Funds' reputation as a trusted financial advice provider in the region. Skills & Experience Working towards, or holding, the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (Investment Strand). Sound knowledge of investment markets, wealth management products, and financial advice principles. Experience building strong client relationships and delivering excellent client outcomes. Strong communication, relationship management, and organisational skills. Commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities that create value for clients and the business. A collaborative, client-first approach, strong professional judgement, and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously while remaining connected to a wider national team. Strong understanding of the Taranaki community and local business environment. Established regional connections or the ability to quickly build a local network. Passion for contributing positively to the region and supporting financial wellbeing in the community.
