About the role Working closely alongside our Project and Technical Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of large-scale projects. This position is ideal for an experienced project administrator with a background in the construction industry who understands the importance of project controls, Health & Safety compliance, documentation management, and meeting project deadlines. You will be responsible for ensuring project administration processes are completed accurately and efficiently, helping to optimise project timelines and support successful project outcomes. Key responsibilities Provide administrative support across construction projects both in planning and implementation phases. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities. Maintain accurate project records, documentation, correspondence, and filing systems. Manage project documentation including RFIs, variations, submittals, drawings, registers and approvals. Support Health & Safety administration and compliance requirements. Coordinate inductions, training records, site documentation, and contractor compliance information. Prepare project reports, O&M Manuals, meeting minutes, project communications. Track project milestones and deadlines, following up actions where required. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders. Assist with procurement administration and document control processes. About you Proven experience in a Project Administrator role within the construction industry. Strong understanding of large-scale project administration processes and compliance requirements. Knowledge of New Zealand Health & Safety requirements and construction industry practices. Experience working alongside project managers and technical teams. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Experience with project management or document control systems would be advantageous. A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to support a busy team environment.
