Initial 12-Month Contract | Competitive Monthly Salary Subang Jaya, Malaysia | Hybrid Working Arrangement Salesforce Education Cloud or EDA | Malaysia Citizen or RPT Essential The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Administrator to join a leading Malaysian higher education institution, supporting the day-to-day administration, optimisation, and continuous improvement of its Salesforce Education Cloud platform. Working closely with academic and administrative stakeholders, you will ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, and aligned with institutional needs across student recruitment, admissions, student success, and alumni engagement. You'll leverage Salesforce's declarative capabilities to deliver enhancements, support users, maintain data quality, and maximise platform adoption. The Responsibilities: Administer and maintain the Salesforce Education Cloud platform, including user management, security configuration, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and ongoing system administration. Configure and enhance Salesforce using declarative tools including Flow, validation rules, custom objects, page layouts, record types, reports, and dashboards to support evolving business requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce users, managing support requests, troubleshooting platform issues, resolving incidents, and coordinating with developers where custom development is required. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather enhancement requests, document requirements, recommend best-practice Salesforce solutions, and support Agile delivery initiatives. Maintain data integrity through data cleansing, duplicate management, validation rules, and governance processes while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and data privacy requirements. Support release management activities including sandbox administration, testing, deployments, change management, and platform documentation. Develop and deliver user training, knowledge articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and platform best practices to drive user adoption and continuous improvement. Monitor platform health, licence utilisation, system performance, and Salesforce releases, proactively identifying opportunities for optimisation and leveraging new platform capabilities. Skills & Experience Required: 3-5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Administrator Analyst with hands-on experience supporting Salesforce CRM environments. Proven experience administering Salesforce Education Cloud or Education Data Architecture (EDA); experience within higher education or non-profit organisations is highly regarded. Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative configuration including Flow, custom objects, validation rules, reports, dashboards, permission sets, profiles, and security models. Experience managing user support, incident resolution, data quality initiatives, release management, and platform administration within an Agile environment. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions and provide effective end-user support. Salesforce Certified Administrator is essential. Advanced Administrator, Education Cloud Consultant, or Business Analyst certifications will be highly regarded.
