About Us 2 Cheap Cars is one of New Zealand's largest importers and retailers of quality used vehicles, listed on the NZX. Our workshop and reconditioning teams keep hundreds of vehicles moving through our pipeline every month, and we are looking for an organised, detail-driven Parts Coordinator to keep our parts and stock operation running smoothly. The Role As Parts Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our workshop's parts and stock control function. You will manage purchase orders, reconcile deliveries, maintain accurate stock records, and support our mechanics and workshop team so that the correct parts are on hand, first time, every time. Key responsibilities include: Raising and processing purchase orders in line with workshop requests and approvals Ordering parts and consumables to meet daily workshop schedules Reconciling purchase orders against deliveries and resolving discrepancies Managing returns, cancellations, and credits Maintaining accurate records for purchase orders, invoices, returns, and credits Monitoring stock levels, tracking usage, and maintaining reorder points Conducting stock takes and investigating variances Managing the workshop tools register and completing scheduled tool audits Verifying inward goods against delivery dockets and purchase orders Supporting Health and Safety compliance around parts and stock handling General workshop and administrative support as required Who We Are Looking For We are ideally looking for someone with a background in automotive parts, purchasing, or stock control. However, we are especially keen to hear from Service Advisors looking for a new challenge. If you currently work as a Service Advisor in a dealership, you already have exactly the administrative discipline, attention to detail, and workshop-systems familiarity this role calls for. We are very open to training the right Service Advisor into this position, so please apply even if you have not worked in a dedicated parts or procurement role before. You will bring Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities A professional, confident manner and a positive approach to change Comfort with data entry, reconciliation, and record-keeping systems Valid NZ driver's licence What We Offer Competitive salary of $70,000 – $80,000, dependent on experience A supportive, fast-paced team environment The stability of working for an established, NZX-listed company How to Apply Click "Apply Now" and submit your CV along with a short cover note telling us about your background and why this role interests you.
