Fraud Associate

Key Responsibilities Conduct fraud risk assessments for new products, services, and business initiatives. Analyse fraud incidents, scam trends, and emerging fraud risks to identify control gaps. Review and enhance fraud prevention and detection controls. Support fraud rule tuning, threshold reviews, UAT, and fraud system enhancements. Review fraud investigations and root cause analyses to identify recurring issues. Prepare fraud risk reports, dashboards, and management information. Provide fraud risk advisory and guidance to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with Fraud Operations, AML/CFT, Compliance, Product, Technology, Legal, and Risk teams. Support regulatory reviews, audits, and fraud risk assessments. Maintain and review fraud-related policies and procedures. Keep updated on BNM requirements, scam trends, and industry best practices. Perform other fraud risk management duties assigned by management. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Criminology, Information Security, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Fraud Risk Management, Financial Crime, AML/CFT, Fraud Analytics, or Fraud Investigation. Knowledge of BNM fraud risk management requirements and fraud governance. Strong understanding of fraud typologies, scam trends, fraud controls, and fraud detection techniques. Experience with fraud monitoring or analytics systems is an advantage. Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. High integrity and professionalism.
