Qualifications & experience Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (aerospace, industrial, mechanical, etc). Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings. Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Able to work shifts, overtime and weekends. Tasks & responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of wheel and brake assemblies, including visual, dimensional, and functional checks. Disassemble components, clean parts, and remove contaminants to prepare for inspection and repair. Repair damaged components, replace worn parts, and reassemble assemblies to original specifications. Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records, including inspection logs, repair reports, and part replacement documentation. Strictly adhere to aviation regulations, manufacturer's maintenance manuals, and quality control standards. Prioritize safety by following safety procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and reporting any safety concerns.
