Overview of the role As a Production Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our production processes. You will coordinate with various departments to optimize resources, manage production schedules, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting customer expectations and driving our company’s success Responsibilities as follows: Knowledge responsibilities Master and manage company processes for production within Free zone/Import-Export environments. Understand our diverse product range and associated production processes. Optimize the arrangement of resources, including manpower, production lines, and parts across multiple projects. Plan and control production lead times, cycle times, and standard times to enhance efficiency. Functional responsibilities Collaborate with the Sales, Business Development, and Program Management teams to review new orders and projects. Coordinate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Warehouse, Quality Management, and Facility teams to develop comprehensive project and production timelines. Prepare detailed production plans, coordinating necessary actions to meet shipment requirements alongside the Operations Team. Ensure timely follow-up on order progress, monitor costs, and implement reduction strategies. Review and manage material status with Purchasing, Materials Planning, and Engineering teams, especially for new parts and developments. Oversee the implementation of new parts, vehicles, and processes, ensuring smooth change management. Act as the primary point of contact for customers on ongoing projects, supporting customer-related activities to enhance satisfaction. Background and experience Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production processes, resource optimization, and logistics. Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Production Engineering/ Industrial Engineering / Management Science.
