Senior Business Analyst (Application) - 1 year to extend

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior/ Business Analyst (Application) to join our Technology and Operations team. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the stability, governance, and continuous improvement of critical applications. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to drive system enhancements and operational excellence. Role & Responsibilities (Duties and Essential Job Functions) Assume key responsibilities on behalf of the Application Owner to ensure operational stability, governance, and service continuity. Elicit, document, and validate business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications from diverse stakeholders. Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and actionable system enhancement plans. Monitor and track the progress of development and support activities (both BAU and project-based) carried out by offshore development teams. Oversee the full system development lifecycle, including programming, testing, implementation, maintenance, enhancements, and ongoing support. Lead internal System Integration Testing (SIT) and provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, including troubleshooting and bug fixing. Provide daily BAU support to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction. Drive and support DevOps processes, practices, and tooling to enhance the speed, quality, and reliability of software delivery. Key Relationships / Memberships Internal: Business users, project managers, infrastructure teams, and offshore developers. External: Vendors and third-party service providers (as needed). Experience / Qualifications and Skills (Required & Preferred) Required: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in application development and production support. Hands-on project experience with DataBricks , Python , and Power BI . Solid experience with version control, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows using GitHub , as well as CI/CD and DevOps practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese . Preferred: Knowledge of Autosys , Java , SAP BO , and Crystal Reports is an advantage. Familiarity with the asset management domain is a plus.
