Yard Assistant

About the role We are seeking skilled and experienced Yard Assistant to join our team at Rightmove Recruitment. This is a varied role where your mechanical mind and ability to fix small engine machines will come in handy. A current F and OSH certificate is required. The role is based in Woolston. This role is salary based over 35 hours per week. Salary will be dependent on experience. What you'll be doing Carrying out the day to day running of the yard, ensuring all plant and equipment are maintained and available. Responsible for cleaning and general upkeep of Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure efficiency and safety Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols What we're looking for Previous experience as Yardperson Experience with small engines, service, repairs, maintenance Excellent attitude, willing to get stuck in with all types of jobs Happy to be out on the tools if required Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Car and Full class 1 licence are essential for this role. Ability to Drive a Manual Vehicle. Site Safe, WTR and First Aid Cert are desirable.
