Experienced Asphalt & Paving Crew Member

Working across a variety of asphalt projects throughout the Bay of Plenty, you'll play a key role in site preparation, excavation, and delivering quality outcomes for our clients. While employed by Bay of Plenty Asphalt, you'll also be part of the wider Spray Marks Group, providing opportunities to work alongside other businesses within the group and develop your skills and career. What We Offer Competitive hourly rates Stable, full-time employment A supportive and experienced team environment Varied and interesting civil construction projects Opportunities to grow and take on additional responsibilities Key Responsibilities Asphalt & paving crew surfacing duties including: Operating machinery such as pavers, rollers, compactors, and emulsion sprayers Shovelling, hand-ramming, and screeding asphalt Site preparation and labouring duties Driving trucks and light commercial vehicles Collecting and delivering materials and equipment Working safely and efficiently as part of a team What We're Looking For Must have experience in asphalt construction Full Class 2 Driver License minimum Class 4 License advantageous but not essential W, T, R endorsements are a bonus Strong work ethic and positive attitude Commitment to health and safety Ability to work well within a team New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing About Us Bay of Plenty Asphalt is part of the SM Group.
