Assistant Manager, Market Risk, Group Risk, Hong Kong Responsibilities • Analyze and prepare the trading and banking book positions reports and highlight significant outright and embedded risks. • Responsible for intra-day/Daily/Monthly position reports and monitoring of exceptions. • Ensure compliance with bank trading and non-trade limits and provide early warning to business units and report limit breaching to management. • Participate in system development projects related to market risk, interest rate risk and liquidity risk of the bank and financial product/services. • To review new products and provide input on effective quantification techniques from interest rate risk / liquidity risk perspectives. • Participate in internal projects to enhance ALM reporting and analytical capability. • Participle in market risk management system/platform implementation, including performing UAT and working closely with IS section • Help to streamline the day-to-day / new market risk monitoring workflow • Evaluate, understand businesses processes and integrate risk identification and control functions • Review and update the Market Risk Management Policy and relevant operation manual from time to time to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines. • Develop or update Guide for market risk reports and risk models Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or other STEM-related disciplines. • Preferably ECF-TM certification holder/ with professional qualifications such as CFA, FPM, ACCA or CPA • 2-3 years of experience of market risk reporting and monitoring; implementing treasury and market risk systems. • Sound knowledge of treasury products and risk management systems, with hands-on experience in Kondor+ and Bloomberg preferred. • Good PC skills; knowledge in VBA is an advantage • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua Please send us your resume (in Word Document) including both current and expected salary.
