To lead the development and optimization of software systems for semiconductor equipment. This position will have extensive experience in developing software for complex machinery, with a focus on performance, reliability, and integration with hardware systems General Responsibilities: - 1. Lead the test and deployment of software systems for semiconductor equipment, with a focus on control systems, user interfaces and real-time data processing. 2. Develop and optimize software for machine control, automation, motion control and data acquisition systems. 3. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with machine components, such as sensors, actuators and controllers. 4. Perform testing and debugging to identify and resolve software issues during both prototyping and production stages. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product specifications and system requirements into robust software solutions. 6. Ensure software compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 7. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior software engineers and developers. 8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in software development, semiconductor manufacturing technologies and industry trends. 9. Ensure software development SOP & documentation comply with ISO standards. 10. Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time. Requirements:- At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science/information system/electrical & Electronic/Mechatronic/Robotic or equivalent. Candidate with Programming experience in Semiconductor/Automation industry is an added advantage. Minimum 6 years’ experience of software development, testing, debugging and integration, preferably in semiconductor equipment, robotic, motion control system or precision machinery industries. Candidate who likes both software & hardware . Preferably candidates with knowledge in:- Networking, database or vision system. System development methodology. Familiar with motion and IO control. Computer literate ( MS Office , Visual Basic , C# & C++ Programming .) Good analytical & programming skill. Possess own transport and willing to travel local/outstation if necessary.
