Production Planner

We are searching for a Production Planner to strengthen our Planning and Procurement Department at our production site located in Laem-Chabang Industrial Estate. It is a job in a global working environment, with a high focus on planning, data control and structure. In your own dedicated area, you will be responsible for planning of production to make sure delivery is done in due time. You will be working in a team of 5 other Planners and Purchasing officers and a manager. Responsibilities: Planning of production ensuring materials and capacity availability prior to release production orders. Monitoring material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage. Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production. Monitoring order progress and utilized time in respective production areas. In coordination with all concerned parties including Production Supervisors, Warehouse and Shipping staff, ensure all products are being produced and completed in due time according to production orders to meet scheduled delivery time. Monitoring stock turnover, review and adjust safety stock of materials. Maintain and correct master data related to materials. Optimize methods and flow in daily planning. Qualifications: Bachelor 's degree in related field. 3-5 years’ experience in production and material planning in a manufacturing environment. Good communication in English is required, both spoken and written. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage. As a person you must be / have: Structured. Strong analytical skills and creative with good relationships. A team player and service minded. Have an attitude for problem-solving. Able to work under pressure and to achieve deadlines.
