Join our growing team in the Far North AG Construction Ltd is looking for an experienced Residential Estimator to join our growing team on a full-time basis. We're a busy group home builder delivering quality homes throughout Kerikeri and the wider Far North. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an organised, detail- focused estimator who takes pride in producing accurate, competitive estimates. About the Role As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of our residential projects by producing accurate pricing and working closely with our sales and construction teams. Your responsibilities will include: * Preparing accurate build estimates and tender submissions * Completing material take-offs and quantity measurements * Requesting, reviewing and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations * Producing, verifying and issuing job orders to subcontractors and suppliers * Maintaining and updating pricing databases and cost information * Assisting with pricing variations and ongoing cost planning throughout construction * Working closely with the sales and construction teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing * Maintaining accurate project documentation and records About You To be successful in this role, you'll have: * Previous estimating experience in residential construction (essential) * A sound understanding of New Zealand residential construction methods and materials * Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy * Excellent organisational and time management skills * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team * Confidence using Microsoft Excel and estimating/job costing software * The ability to prioritise workload and consistently meet deadlines * A current full New Zealand driver's licence Why Join AG Construction? * Full-time, permanent position based in Kerikeri * Competitive remuneration based on experience * Supportive, down-to-earth team culture * Opportunity to work on a wide variety of residential projects * Long-term career opportunity with a growing company If you're passionate about residential construction, enjoy producing high-quality estimates, and want to be part of a professional and supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
