Job Overview The Business Development (BD) professional at Jacobson Pharma Corporation Ltd. drives pharmaceutical market expansion, partnership building, and in-licensing in Hong Kong and Macau to achieve company growth objectives and enhance competitive positioning. Key Responsibilities Market Research & Analysis : Analyze Hong Kong and Macau, competitors’ registered products, and demand to guide in-licensing strategies. Partnership Management : Build and maintain relationships with international pharmaceutical companies, manage existing partners, and identify new opportunities to expand the product portfolio. In-Licensing Strategy : Evaluate unregistered products’ market potential, verify compliance with Hong Kong regulations and Hospital Authority tender specifications, and conduct academic reviews of clinical efficacy and commercial viability for NCE and Biosimilar products. Contract Negotiation : Draft and negotiate contracts, consolidate product lists from international companies, and collaborate with Finance and Legal teams for streamlined reviews. Regulatory Support : Assist Regulatory Affairs with product registration and compliance verification. Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze market and Hospital Authority bidding data (using past generic product records) via Excel/CSV to support strategic decisions. Networking : Attend events like CPHI Europe and Shanghai to network with potential partners and boost brand visibility. Project Management & Collaboration : Lead in-licensing and market expansion projects, support partners with tender bid preparation, and collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Sales & Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams. Qualifications 3+ years of pharmaceutical business development experience (preferred). Fluency in Mandarin and English for communication with Chinese and international partners (required). Strong market research, data analysis, and contract negotiation skills. Excellent collaboration skills with internal teams (Regulatory Affairs, Sales & Marketing, Legal, Finance). Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools. Availability for overseas business travel, including weekends.
