You know the NDIS. We want you to run ours. Veteran Mentors is a veteran-led youth development organisation. We run the Junior Leader Program, a residential program for young people aged 12 to 17 who are struggling at school, at home, or with themselves. Around four in ten of our participants are NDIS funded. Right now, the NDIS side of our enrolments sits with people whose main job is something else. It lands on our Head of Enrolments, which pulls her away from getting young people into programs. We want one person who owns it properly. What you would do We would want you to run our NDIS onboarding from end to end. This will look like: Check the client's funding is genuinely there before an enrolment goes ahead, in the right support categories, with enough left in the plan Work with plan managers and support coordinators to nail down the support codes Build and send quotes, get written acceptance Issue service agreements and chase them to signature Raise and send invoices Follow up payment and escalate the case for late payments if it comes to that Support the transition of our NDIS pipeline in Zoho CRM When the NDIS queue is clear, you would help the enrolments team with lead follow-up and data work. Who we are after We want someone who already knows the NDIS system. We are not looking to train someone up. You can read a plan and tell us within minutes whether the funding is there You have prepared quotes, service agreements and invoices in an NDIS setting, most likely inside a plan management office or a registered provider You are comfortable telling a plan manager their information is incorrect, and doing it in a way that keeps the relationship intact You can have a difficult conversation with a parent about money without losing the parent You work on your own against real deadlines, and you know when to decide and when to ask You hold a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or you can obtain one. A current clearance means you can start with us much sooner You hold a Blue Card, or the Working with Children Check for your state, or you can get one No formal qualification required. What you have actually done matters more. Experience with Zoho CRM and Xero is a bonus, not a must. What we are offering A role built to grow. We are starting at three mornings a week, and we expect to add a fourth day at the six-month mark. If you are after something that starts small and builds, this is it. 9 hours a week to begin with, 9am to 12pm Monday to Wednesday, moving to Monday to Thursday at six months $43.42 per hour plus super School hours, no weekends Fully remote, anywhere in Australia. Hours are Queensland time A patch you own outright. You would become the subject matter expert in this system A small team where you can see exactly what your work does Real say in how we do things. Our staff values are Selfless Excellence, Humility, Legacy, Personal Pride and All In. In this role that means doing the unglamorous follow-up properly because a young person's place depends on it, and having the courage to tell us when our process is wrong. To apply Send your resume and answer these three questions. Keep it short. We are more interested in how you think than how you write. A plan manager tells you the funding is there but will not confirm it in writing. What do you do? A family's plan has funding, but in the wrong support category for what we deliver. Walk us through your options. An invoice is 45 days overdue and the plan manager is not responding. What are your next three steps? Applications close Sunday 16th August 2026.
