Executive Principal 2027 Commencement Melos Education is a group of 8 Christian Schools with more than 1,800 students located across NSW. The Melos Group is affiliated with both Christian Schools Australia and the Association of Independent Schools NSW and holds CMA Standards Council governance accreditation. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to join this growing ministry, with the current Executive Principal (EP) Mr Phillip Nash retiring in early 2027. This role will suit a mature Christian leader who is committed to strengthening schools, supporting Principals and advancing Christ-centred education across diverse communities and educational entities (schools, early learning centres and special schools). Reporting to the board, the EP will work closely with the Principals of member schools in the Group while being supported in their work by the Melos Group staff. Key requirements for the position include: • Ability to engagingly communicate the purpose and mission of Melos. • Strong experience in the spiritual and professional leadership and care of staff. • Professional educational qualifications that satisfy NESA and government agencies. • Strong Christian Educational Leadership skills. • Humility and a collaborative leadership style that empowers each member School Principal through relationship and authentic delegation of authority • High levels of organisational and staff management skills. • Demonstrated development of self and of staff. • Strategic thinking, resilience, and energy to deal with a wide range of member school and staff/student needs. • Passionate commitment to Christian Education. • Frequent vehicle travel to support member schools as required. The successful applicant will be a committed Christian who is actively involved in their local Protestant church and exhibits a consistent Christian lifestyle.
