IT Infrastructure Specialist ( Azure)

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist ( Azure) to oversee and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure and cloud ecosystem. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud platforms, servers, databases, networks, backup systems, and end-user IT services while supporting business continuity initiatives. Description Oversee the administration, monitoring, and optimization of Microsoft Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. Manage and maintain Linux-based server environments (AlmaLinux/RHEL), ensuring system stability, security, and performance. Administer PostgreSQL databases, including database monitoring, backup and recovery processes, performance optimization, and issue resolution. Maintain and support IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and related systems. Perform regular system maintenance activities, including patch management, health checks, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. Ensure the effectiveness of backup and recovery procedures to support business continuity requirements. Implement and uphold IT security standards, including access management, system logging, monitoring, and security best practices. Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure, system, and user-related issues on a day-to-day basis. Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventories, software license records, and operational procedures. Participate in IT audits, compliance initiatives, and infrastructure enhancement projects as required. Profile Proven hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Strong expertise in Linux server administration and support. Solid experience in PostgreSQL database administration and troubleshooting. Good understanding of network infrastructure, including configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution. Familiarity with Windows Server platforms, virtualization technologies, and enterprise backup solutions. Experience supporting business-critical IT infrastructure and resolving operational incidents. Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, backup management, and IT security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
