Civil Journeyman

Civil Journeyman We're looking for an experienced Civil Journeyman with drainage and reinstatement experience to join a busy civil team delivering essential infrastructure projects across Wellington. Location: Wellington Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $32–$40 per hour Key Responsibilities Carry out drainage installation, repairs, and maintenance Complete reinstatement works including concrete, asphalt, paving, and landscaping Excavate and prepare trenches for underground services Install stormwater, wastewater, and water reticulation pipework Backfill, compact, and reinstate work areas to specification Read site plans and work alongside machine operators and civil crews Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Maintain a safe, tidy worksite while following health and safety procedures What You'll Need Previous experience in civil construction, drainage, and reinstatement Full Class 1 Driver Licence (Class 2 and WTR endorsements advantageous) Strong understanding of civil construction practices Experience with concrete, asphalt, paving, or surface reinstatement Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team Good level of physical fitness Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test What's In It For You?
