About the role Bay Garden Care is a local landscaping and gardening company based in Hawke's Bay. We work primarily on high-end residential and commercial properties throughout the region, where attention to detail and quality workmanship are highly valued. We are looking someone who genuinely enjoys working outdoors, has an eye for detail, takes pride in their work, and is keen to learn and grow alongside the company. Key responsibilities General seasonal garden maintenance Pruning, hedge trimming, strimming, and spraying Planting, mulching, composting, lawn installation, and garden edging Working on both residential and commercial properties Working within small teams and building genuine connections with clients and colleagues Working independently from time to time Time management and problem solving Driving and operating work vehicles and machinery Being physically fit and capable of lifting 15–20kg when required About you Experience with garden maintenance and ability to provide references from previous employers Experience towing trailers and driving manual vehicles Experience using garden power tools A full, clean New Zealand driver's licence and reliable transport A basic understanding of workplace health and safety requirements A positive attitude and willingness to learn, persevere, and solve problems Reliability, honesty, and open communication with both the team and business owner About us Bay Garden Care is a local landscaping and gardening company based in the heart of Hawke's Bay.
