Business Advisory Manager (or Assistant Manager)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their Business Advisory team. The Opportunity As Accounting Manager, you’ll take responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries, becoming their trusted advisor and first point of contact. Working closely with the Partners, you’ll provide practical business advice, oversee compliance work, and help develop the next generation of accountants within the team. Key Responsibilities ● Manage your own portfolio of business clients, building long-term trusted relationships. ● Provide proactive accounting, taxation and business advisory services. ● Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals. ● Work directly with clients to identify opportunities, solve problems and deliver commercial advice. ● Partner with the firm’s approachable Directors on complex client matters and strategic projects. ● Mentor and support junior team members through technical guidance and coaching. ● Ensure work is delivered efficiently using modern cloud-based accounting systems and technology. About You ● CA qualified. ● Several years’ experience in public practice, ideally in a client-facing management role. ● Confident managing client relationships and providing commercial advice. ● Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge. ● A proactive, organised professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work. ● A natural communicator who builds trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues.
