Loss Prevention Officer

We're looking for experienced Loss Prevention Officers who understand that modern retail security is about far more than preventing theft. You'll be a visible presence throughout our store, confidently managing risk, responding professionally to incidents and delivering an exceptional first and last impression for every client who walks through our doors. This is a role for professionals who can balance strong security awareness with outstanding customer service. About the Role Working across a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays, you'll rotate between Loss Prevention and Doorman responsibilities depending on operational requirements. · Maintaining a visible security presence throughout the store · Patrolling internal and external areas to minimise risk and deter theft · Monitoring CCTV, alarms and access points where required · Responding to incidents calmly using strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills · Identifying hazards, reporting near misses and supporting emergency procedures · Completing accurate incident reports and supporting investigations · Welcoming clients, visitors and brand partners with warmth and professionalism · Managing queues and store access during busy trading periods · Creating a premium first and last impression of the Faradays brand · Working closely with the Loss Prevention Manager and wider leadership team About You · Previous frontline security experience · A current Certificate of Approval (COA) Licence (essential) · A sound understanding of the Crimes Act, Health and Safety at Work Act and Privacy Act · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills · Sound judgement, integrity and discretion · Ability to remain calm under pressure · Professional presentation suited to a premium retail environment · Current First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential · Experience in premium retail, hospitality or luxury environments is advantageous Why Join Faradays? · Be part of an exciting premium retail destination · Work within a supportive and professional security team · Build your career in an environment where customer experience is as important as security · Ongoing training and development opportunities · Competitive remuneration and a collaborative team culture If you're passionate about creating safe environments while delivering exceptional service, we'd love to hear from you.
