You'll be delivering and collecting construction and earthmoving machinery across Northland, and you'll be the face of Ace Rental every time you roll up to a job site — so presentation and a positive attitude count for a lot. Key responsibilities Operating heavy transport vehicles to deliver and collect machinery and attachments Safely loading, securing, and unloading equipment using correct procedures Carrying out basic servicing and maintenance (greasing, fluid checks, etc.) Keeping your truck and trailer clean, tidy, and roadworthy at all times Maintaining accurate delivery records and liaising with the hire team Delivering great customer service on every job Taking real ownership of the transport function for our Kerikeri branch About you A full Class 5 heavy vehicle licence Experience operating machinery, with solid mechanical aptitude A strong understanding of load restraint and safe transport practices A reliable, self-motivated approach — you can be trusted to get the job done independently Great communication skills and a professional manner Pride in your presentation and the gear you operate A genuine commitment to health and safety About us Ace Rental is a vibrant, hardworking team operating through the Far North, providing the best construction and earthmoving machinery hire services across Northland.
