About the Role As an experienced Automotive Spray Painter, you'll play an important role in delivering the high standard of workmanship the business is known for. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll manage jobs through the full paint process - from preparation and masking through to colour matching, spray application and final finishing. This is a hands-on role offering a variety of repair work, modern equipment, a steady workflow and the opportunity to be part of a team that genuinely takes pride in the quality of its work. Key Responsibilities Preparing vehicles and panels for paint Masking, priming and refinishing work Colour matching and paint mixing Spray painting and blending repairs to a high standard Completing final finishing and quality control checks Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety standards Assisting the wider workshop team as required What We're Looking For Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter Ability to manage the full paint process from preparation through to final finish Strong colour matching and blending skills High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently Positive attitude and team-focused approach Experience within a collision repair or panel and paint environment Experience or exposure to panel work, with the ability to assist on the panel side when required, would be highly regarded What's on Offer Full-time position with a steady workflow Competitive remuneration based on experience Modern workshop with quality equipment and facilities Supportive, down-to-earth team environment Varied work and the opportunity to further develop your skills Long-term stability with a respected Christchurch business How to apply If you're looking for your next opportunity and take pride in delivering quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
