The Opportunity We are an established private international financial services group seeking a Business Operations Executive to join our Hong Kong office. Working closely with senior management, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring work is organised, priorities are managed and operational matters are followed through to completion. This is a hands-on operational role requiring sound judgement, strong organisational ability and the confidence to work across different business functions. The role requires someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may change and who is able to exercise sound judgement when managing multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of work, follow matters through to completion and identify operational issues and recommend practical improvements to support the efficient operation of the business. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day operational matters across the business Monitor ongoing work, priorities, deadlines and outstanding matters Follow up with internal teams and external parties to ensure matters are completed on time Coordinate internal approvals, documentation and operational processes. Maintain organised records, trackers and business documentation Prepare operational reports and updates for management Support the implementation of business initiatives and operational projects Review existing workflows and recommend practical improvements Support management on operational matters and business projects as required Undertake additional responsibilities as the role develops Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in business operations, office management, executive support, project coordination or a similar role Experience within financial services, insurance, or another professional services environment is preferred Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Able to exercise sound judgement when managing competing priorities and operational issues Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Practical, dependable and able to work independently Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook Comfortable using technology and AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency Fluent English and Cantonese required Mandarin is an advantage Personal Attributes The successful candidate will be: Organised and disciplined Dependable and accountable Practical and solutions-oriented Able to work independently without constant supervision Comfortable coordinating multiple priorities simultaneously Professional and discreet Committed to maintaining high standards Why Join Us Established private international financial services group Long-term career opportunity Work closely with senior management Broad exposure across business operations Opportunity to take on increasing responsibility
