About the role We are looking for energetic and caring individuals on a Singapore Work Holiday Programme to join our team as Weekend Teachers. This role is primarily focused on delivering weekend programmes for children. Additional weekday administrative work may be available based on operational needs. Key responsibilities Preparing lesson slides and materials before the weekends Preparing and executing activities on the weekends Conducting classes for up to 10 - 15 kids (5 – 12 years old) independently Cleaning up the centre and organising inventory Student administration and customer service (managing attendance and post-activity feedback sheets, answering queries, resolving complaints) Managing volunteers during activities (giving instructions, briefing and debriefing) About you Must hold a valid Singapore Work Holiday Pass Comfortable communicating in English Enjoy working with children aged 5 to 12 Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently Reliable and punctual Able to commit every weekend for at least 3 months Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, or working with children is an advantage but not required About us Glyph Community is a Singapore-registered IPC charity dedicated to supporting children from lower-income or vulnerable households, aged 5 to 12, through holistic weekend enrichment programs.
