Job Summary Deliver engaging physical education lessons to primary and secondary students, promoting physical health, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a safe, inclusive environment. Responsibilities Plan and deliver physical education lessons and activities tailored to primary and secondary students to enhance their physical skills and fitness Teach sports rules, coordination, balance, and teamwork using inclusive and engaging methods Create a positive and encouraging environment that builds student confidence to participate in physical activities Develop exercises and games that promote agility, skills, and fitness aligned with student developmental needs Monitor student progress and provide individualized support to improve physical abilities and participation Ensure safety and proper supervision during all physical activities to maintain a secure learning environment Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum and daily routines Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and good sportsmanship during physical education sessions Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement Maintain PE equipment to ensure it is safe, clean, and well-functioning Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development to enhance teaching skills Required competencies and certifications Diploma in Physical Education or related field (or equivalent experience) CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Preferred competencies and qualifications Previous experience teaching sports to children Strong knowledge of child development related to physical education Passion for promoting children’s physical health and fitness Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Other Information Work Environment: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
