Product Owner – Microsoft 365 Workplace products & Tooling

📍 Bangkok | SM Tower (BTS Sanam Pao) | On-site 5 days/week 🌏 Global Role | Regional Exposure | Leadership Opportunity Job Purpose The Product Owner plays a pivotal role in defining and driving the development of digital products or services that meet customer needs and align with the organisation's goals. You will be responsible for setting the product vision, prioritising features, and ensuring that the development and implementation team delivers value to business stakeholders. Product owner act as the key interface and single point of contact with senior business leadership for anything related to their relevant domains in digital. Job Responsibilities 1. Product Vision and Roadmap - Develop and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with stakeholder objectives - Identify market opportunities and customer needs - Create and maintain a technology product roadmap - Identify emerging technologies with potential applications. - Define and communicate the product's value proposition 2. Requirements Definition and Prioritisation - Gather and prioritise user stories and product features based on business value - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and market trends - Define user stories, features, and acceptance criteria for technology projects. 3. Technology Solution and Delivery - Work closely with development and implementation teams to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and deliver on time and on budget. - Provide guidance and clarification to development teams during the implementation phase - Monitor project progress and remove impediments to delivery 4. Stakeholder Communication - Engage with senior business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges - Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring alignment. 5. Usability and User Experience - Ensure that the product is user-friendly and aligns with business processes - Gather user feedback and incorporate usability improvements into product development - Prioritise features that enhance the user experience 6. Product Performance and Optimisation - Measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success - Identify areas for improvement and optimisation based on data-driven insights - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the product 7. Compliance and Risk Management - Ensure that technology solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards - Identify and mitigate technology-related risks with your product - Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams 8. People Management - Lead and mentor members of the product team - Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience. Minimum 10-20 years of experience in product ownership or related roles. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Workplace products Demonstrated success in delivering digital products such as AutoCAD, Adobe or services. Familiarity with processes and technologies in the product domain Familiarity with product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Experience in Project and Supplier Management Good command of English Certification in product management or agile methodologies is advantageous.
