About the role We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant Manager/Manager to join our Finance and Accounting team at NSW (Thailand) Limited. This is a full-time position based in Chon Buri . In this role, you will play a critical part in managing our financial operations and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial reporting. You will provide leadership and direction to the accounting team whilst maintaining the highest standards of financial management and internal controls. Key responsibilities Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial analysis. Manage the product costing process, including standard cost calculation, actual cost analysis, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring team members meet performance targets and develop their professional skills Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards Manage the accounts reconciliation process, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies Coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audit purposes Analyse financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management and collections Prepare tax returns and liaise with tax authorities as required Monitor budgets and expenditure, providing regular reporting to senior management What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance functions, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS or Thai accounting standards) Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis Excellent understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements in Thailand Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively, with strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues Knowledge of internal audit procedures and best practices in accounting controls Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Professional accounting certification (such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is advantageous What we offer At NSW (Thailand) Limited, we are committed to supporting our employees' career development and wellbeing.
