Senior Legal Officer We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Officer to provide legal support across multiple business units, manage litigation and legal risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver practical legal advice to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage litigation and legal disputes for the Group of Companies. Serve as a legal advisor to assigned Business Units (BUs), providing practical and business-oriented legal advice. Coordinate with and monitor the performance of external law firms to ensure effective case management and legal service quality. Prepare legal opinions, reports, and executive summaries for management. Support cross-functional legal projects and strategic business initiatives. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and legal documentation. Support and monitor corporate compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements. Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Assist in managing the legal budget and external legal service costs. Develop and improve legal processes, templates, and centralized legal documentation systems. Support knowledge sharing and provide guidance to junior legal team members when required. Handle confidential legal matters and special assignments from the CEO. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Law (LL.B.). A Master's degree (LL.M.) and/or Attorney-at-Law License will be an advantage. At least 5–8 years of experience in Corporate Legal, Commercial Legal, or related fields. Proven experience in litigation management, supervising external legal counsel, and providing legal advice to senior management. Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Compliance, Risk Management, and PDPA. Excellent legal drafting, contract review, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly to business stakeholders. Good planning, prioritization, and time management skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
